The name Studio Kvinna is as special as the designs themselves. 'Kvinna' means 'woman' in Swedish - a nod to Femke's love of Scandinavia and her own Frisian name, which means 'little woman'.

From her workplace on the edge of Hengelo, Femke creates her world on paper, inspired by nature, folklore, traditions and a touch of Scandinavian simplicity. While her cats Charlie and Saartje watch curiously, the designs that make your day a little sunnier are created here.
