Almost Christmas so eggnog time! A delicious drink that immediately puts you in a happy Christmas mood. A big plus: while making it, your house will also smell like a party. Also handy: this recipe is alcohol-free and sugar-free. So kids-proof. Have a jolly Christmas!
This recipe makes 8 servings.

Ingredients
- 4 cups of unsweetened almond milk
- 6 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup Sukrin sweetener (or other keto-friendly sweetener)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup whipped cream
Preparation
- In a medium saucepan, combine the almond milk, egg yolks, sweetener, vanilla extract, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture has thickened and begins to steam, about 10 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cooled eggnog mixture until well blended.
- Serve the avocado chilled, possibly garnished with a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon.
Serve in nice cups or glasses with a cinnamon stick and possibly some orange zest.
