How did you come up with the idea to start this webshop?

In 2021, in the midst of the Corona pandemic, I (Rianne) started my adventure with BijZonder Lekker Gebak. Unemployment and uncertain times had made me bake more. Due to my experience in the catering industry and my newfound passion for baking, I noticed how many animal products went into it -> mainly eggs. That's why I started experimenting with vegan baking. And wow, what a job that was. Many recipes did not seem tasty to me or were quickly more in the healthy direction (vegetables in cake - WHY!, no sugar -> I just want to be able to snack). So I decided to make my own recipes and not want to compromise on taste or appearance.

After two years of growth, it was time for a new start, and that is how Koek & Kruimels was born in 2023. Our goal? Simple: create delicious treats, positively impact the environment and, above all, make you smile.

What is your current favorite product and why?

For me (Rianne) that really is the Artisanal Apple Pie. A delicious basic cookie with cinnamon sugar crust. The best part? The homemade apple pie filling, just YUM! For Greet that really is the Frisse Raspberry. She likes fresh fruit flavors and raspberry is definitely her favorite. Unless… the Pure Passion returns again. A delicious vanilla cookie with white chocolate and passion fruit filling. Then you really see the doubt in her eyes.

What do you like most about running the webshop?

Running our webshop brings us a lot of pleasure every day. The creativity, variety and challenges make every day unique. And the best part? Make you happy with our delicious baked goods!

How do you keep your webshop/collection interesting for your customers?

Simple, we keep innovating! New flavors, fun promotions around holidays - we keep it exciting and surprising. We also have plenty of ideas on the shelf with which we can make even more delicious packages. We now also have vegan baking mixes that have been very well received, they sell quickly and are always sold out quickly. This way you can also bake delicious vegan cookies at home!
